It was a great Giro, full of epic stories and nearly supernatural people. I am always really happy to be part of whatever stage I could travel to, and this time it was the turn of Stage #15 – Grado -> Gorizia. This meant I could see all the peloton not only once, but twice.

The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows), officially known as the 313° Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico, is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Aeronautica Militare, based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, province of Udine.
